Intro to Architecture Camp
Great opportunity for students entering 9th – 12th grade who are interested in the architecture/design field. Learn the fundamental components of what skills an architect needs and tools used to complete the tasks. Students will be introduced to how design of residential and commercial buildings need to be functional, stable and efficient. This camp will teach the students how to create in 2D and then transfer those plans into a 3D model. The class will also make a site visit to a completed project to discuss the challenges involved in getting a project started and how to work from the schematic design, to construction drawings and then through the construction itself.
